Tobi Myrie

Tiny Tiaras Coach

Born In Hartford, CT but an Honorary ATL’ien!  Found her 1st love for dance at the young age of 3. Expressing that love for the arts, she began her journey on a hip-hop dance team at age 5. She then added new passions such as cheerleading and step team. Her choice of extracurricular activities always included dance, cheerleading, or step team from Elementary School to High School. Later, in her adult life after adding the most rewarding title of “Motherhood” to her belt, she discovered her daughter shared that same love and acted on it immediately starting with ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. She was always selected or volunteered to be the “team mom” as extra support for her daughter, parents, and coaches. She later became a head coach for a recreational center with the age range of girls 5 -7 and it sparked a new joy – to teach. After having a new bundle of joy, moving to another city, and starting a new career the time to teach became limited, but fulfilled that joy by staying an active team mom. Staying committed to the DX family for a consecutive 3 years as a team mom, she has now been given the reward to put back on her coaching hat. She enjoys encouraging youth, forming positive habits, identifying barriers, giving/receiving high energy, and reminding youth that a crown may tilt but it will never fall!
